Our planet is now facing a Juggernaut - the continual population growth of the Human Species. This is a subject that is never talked about. Perhaps, most people believe that, magically, the numbers of humans will stabilize someday. However, contrary to that fantasy, the increase in numbers is unrelenting. It shows no signs of stopping. Every year, there are millions of more people on the Earth. That trend is frightening.
The Earth as limited amounts of fresh water needed for people's hydration, as well as for agriculture. There is no longer any margin left in our supply of fresh water. This is just one example of a resource that is at its limit.
As mentioned above, the tidal wave of humans shows no sign of abating. As each year goes by, we will need to pave more wilderness or farmland so that more housing developments can be built for these additional people. There is no public discussion of what to do about this, or how to avoid wars and massive famine in the future. Somehow, that is not supposed to happen. But, it will.
